You will learn advanced search tips to uncover those hard-to-find ancestors. Finally, the presentation will dive deeply into the new Findmypast Newspaper search and how to leverage these powerful search tools.
Mary McKee is the UK Archives Manager at Findmypast, managing the partnership with the breadth of archives and institution Findmypast works with every year. Previously, Mary was the Head of Digitisation, overseeing teams that digitise and publish of millions of historic records and newspapers every year. Mary specialises in Queer History and all things 1921 Census of England & Wales. Mary has appeared on BBC Morning Live, BBC Women’s Hour, and Dan Snow’s History Hit podcast as well as presented at conferences in the UK, Ireland and America.
