Spring School Holiday Program 2023
Looking for something to do in the holidays?
The Observatory will run our Nerdy Science Activities throughout the School Holidays, extended for our Interstate visitors. There are three session types: Daytime Workshop, Junior Sessions and Evening Sessions.
Come along to one of our daytime workshops find out how to use the stars for navigation. The program is beginner friendly and aimed at ages 9+
Those attending the evening sessions will also get to enjoy viewing with our telescopes weather permitting or watch Astrotour movies if cloudy in addition to a navigation workshop and tour of our historic site.
Our Junior Sessions" are designed specifically for families with Children under the age of 9 and will include learning about the size and movement of the stars and launching water rockets.
