Calvarycc 2023 - Parent Presentation: Understanding the Adolescent Brain & Mental Health"Not the Full Walnut"
As a child goes through puberty, the brain changes that occur can be baffling, worrying and sometimes *really* annoying for parents. Not the Full Walnut, is a one-hour presentation delivered by Child and Youth Mental Health Service psychologist Peta Burns for parents and carers on what happens in the brain as your child grows into adolescence. She covers topics such as what is typical adolescent behaviour and what may be a sign of an emerging mental health problem.
If you require child minding, there will be a ‘G’ rated supervised movie screening.
