The SA Chapter of Hellenic Australian Lawyers presents the 2023 John William Perry AO QC Oration on Friday 27 October 2023 - Proudly supported by DMAW Lawyers, WRP Legal & Advisory and Wallmans Lawyers.
It celebrates the life and contribution of the late Honourable Justice John William Perry, the first Justice of the Supreme Court of South Australia of Hellenic background, who served the Court for 19 years.
The Oration is to be delivered by the Honourable Justice Stephen Gageler AC, Justice of the High Court of Australia on "Democracy and Reason".
His Honour has an outstanding reputation as a jurist and was recently announced as the fourteenth Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, commencing in November.
The Oration begins 6pm for a 6.15pm start. The formal seated dinner is from 7:15pm.
Tickets include a three-course banquet and premium drinks.
Cost is $150 for HAL Members, $170 Non-Members, $125 Students. Tables of 10 can be purchased for $1500.
