Open Gardens Victoria - Walpole Garden 2023
This verdant and tranquil family focused garden envelopes and compliments the grand 1885 Victorian home and contemporary rear extension. Designed by Eckersley Garden Architecture the garden was developed in 2020.
The garden invites the visitor on a journey through spaces filled with plants. The expansive front garden takes you on a leisurely stroll up to the house along the gravel path crunching underfoot. A playful winding path leads you down the side of the house and overflows with textural plantings of contrasting leaf forms, densely layered beneath a variety of carefully selected trees that showcases the changing beauty of the seasons.
