Join the City of Kalamunda, Zig Zag Early Years Partnership and the UWA Teddy Bear Hospital for the Healthy Hills Expo event!
The Teddy Bear Hospital is a community project of Interhealth (WA Medical Student Society's Global Health Group) which aims to alleviate children's anxiety over going to the doctor while also promoting healthy lifestyle messages such as healthy eating.
The Hills Healthy Bears Hub will feature two sessions facilitated by UWA Teddy Bear Hospital Doctors and the Youth Action Kalamunda Teddy Bear Nurses featuring Doctor Teddy as well as the following on offer throughout the event:
- Q&A Activity and Healthy Eating Song Session
- Check-Ups with the Teddy Docs for you and your Bear
- Special visit from mascot Doctor Teddy
- Games and activities with Doctor Teddy
- Information Stands and Giveaways available all day
- Special Health and Wellbeing Themed Door Raffle
