THE NEW WAY TO COMPLETE YOUR CERVICAL SCREENING TEST
DR KRYSTAL GREEN, GP Registrar, Shepparton Women's Health CentreCervical screening testing in Australia is a key strategy to reduce the prevalence of cervical cancer. In 2022 the National Cervical Screening Program introduced a self-collected cervical screening test. A self-collected test is just as accurate as a test completed by your doctor or nurse. We aim to give you the important details on the who, when, why and how of self-collected cervical screening tests. ITCHING TO KNOW MORE ABOUT VULVAR PROBLEMS?!
DR MARGREET STEGEMAN, Gynaecologist, Shepparton Women's Health CentreThe saying goes: one learns to itch where one can scratch. But what if it's socially not acceptable to scratch where it is itching: the vulva area or your private parts? Lichen sclerosis, a painful and/or itching vulvar skin condition and other vulvar abnormalities will be discussed. But be warned, this is not for the fainthearted. Graphic material will be used to showcase the issues!
