Ashley Gordon, is a gambling counsellor with 20 years’ experience and six years as a gambling researcher with the Centre for Gambling Education and Research at Southern Cross University at Lismore. He will be leading this workshop regarding cultural awareness when working with First Nations clients and communities. Ashley is also the First Nations Advisor for the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation.Ashley has a long-term objective to be involved in the ongoing development and implementation of Gambling related policies and programs that improve the well-being of Aboriginal people. He is also a leader in training and consultation in working with First Nations communities, the main objectives of the seminar include:
