Gary Furnell will be giving a free talk for the Thomas More Centre entitled 'Jacques Maritain and the Spirit of Creativity' at 6pm on Thursday, November 9. The talk will be in the hall next to Mary Immaculate Church in Annerley (Brisbane).Gary is the Secretary of the Australian Chesterton Society and a regular contributor of essays and short fiction to Quadrant and News Weekly. He is also the author of 'The Hardest Path is the Easiest: exploring the Wisdom Literature with Pascal, Burke, Kierkegaard and Chesterton'. He is presently working with Connor Court Publishing on a long-term project to resurrect overlooked books which champion key aspects Judeo-Christianity. A convert from Anglicanism, Gary became Catholic in 2018.
