Please join Deafblind Australia in an open community conversation about two topics: Technology and Mental Health.DBA invites all community members, services, and organisations to join us for this conversation. We are hoping to gain a better understanding of the current reality of:
1. Access to technology for people who have both hearing and vision loss
2. Mental Health accessibility and support options for people who have both hearing and vision loss
If you would like to share in this space, we would love to have you.
We will be joined by Jody Barney, founder of Deaf Indigenous Community Consultancy, is a a strong and committed advocate who has worked intensively with Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander people who are Deaf/hard of hearing or have disabilities.
