Please join us as we launch an evaluation report detailing the work of the Shining A Light workshops conducted in 2022.Supported by a grant from the Victorian Multicultural Commission, Shining A Light workshops were conducted over several months in 2022 through an innovative pilot program aimed at: raising awareness of the prevalence of domestic violence, providing information about how to helpfully respond and provoking thought about how we might work to prevent such violence from occurring within a faith community setting.
These workshops were a collaboration between Catholic Social Services Victoria, Nicole Rotaru RSM and the Catholic Diocese of Sale. The report to be launched provides detail of the pilot program, evaluation of the program’s effectiveness and recommendations for further phases.
