About
Cycle Dindi is a family friendly, fully supported bicycle ride on sections of the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Riders have the option of three starting locations (Alexandra, Merton or Yea) with a choice of riding distances (anything from 26kms to 93kms). Jointly organised by the Rotary Clubs of Alexandra and Yea, with support from Friends of the GV Rail Trail, this ride is unique for what it offers. Morning Devonshire tea on a working farm in the shearing shed (complete with tractor ride) with sheep dogs demonstrating their skills included as is a delicious lunch on private property by the Goulburn River. Highlight of the ride is the chance to ride through the historic Cheviot Tunnel. A get together provided after the ride at a local hotel with some snacks provided, drinks at bar prices is a chance to chat with fellow riders. A great day to enjoy the beautiful countryside of the Murrindindi Shire and at the same time support youth projects.Location
