'Savoury gluten-free baking'
Growing up in Germany, rustic, wholesome bread has always been part of my life. The taste of a fresh slice of bread with butter and cheese is hard to beat! Good gluten-free bread is still difficult to find, and this is what we will be making in this class - a delicious loaf using nutritious gluten-free flours, seeds and fibre!
I also love savoury tarts and pizze. They are so versatile and make for such an easy, yet tasty, lunch or dinner. They can also be prepared in advance.
We will make a yeast dough using my own gluten-free flour blend. We will then roll out the dough into thin pizza bases. While gluten-free dough is often considered to be ‘impossible’ to handle, I will provide you with lots of handy tips on how to make it ‘possible’. Importantly, I would like you to come away feeling confident and realising that it is not as ‘scary’ as it is commonly thought to be.
