NGV presents Kids on Tour: LET'S MAKE ART! Morning class (SOLD OUT)
About
Activity 1: Underwater Drawing Club: Jean Jullien is a Paris-based artist who has presented his work around the world, expressing his ideas and observations through a lens of humour, playfulness and positivity. From large-scale public installations, painting, and photography, to books, video and clothing, his creative outputs are characterised by black brushstrokes paired with a bold block colour. In this drawing activity children can create their own drawings of their favourite sea creature in Jullien’s bold and playful style.Activity 2: Meet the Fantastic Grey-headed Flying Fox: Gracia and Louise are artists and wildlife carers. At their home in Melbourne, they look after small native mammals including Grey-headed flying foxes. In this activity, young children and their families can draw a Grey-headed flying fox together and find out interesting facts about this often misunderstood furry mammal along the way.
