First National Westwood are proudly hosting a high tea for the Rare find Foundation.The foundation is about making a difference to the lives of people affected by rare diseases.
Rare Find Foundation exists to support those affected and their families, supporting research and raising awareness of Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff Diseases.
In people with Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff diseases, the cells most affected are in the brain. This makes it hard for their brain to do its work, and it can get harder over time. The progressive loss of function eventually leads to the early death of the individual.
