The SHSO is delighted to open its entire 2024 concert season with Copland’s brilliant “Fanfare for the Common Man”. What better way to start a new musical year.!
The SHSO ‘s first concert series in March 2024 will provide many joyful moments… from Elgar’s Three Bavarian Dances and Alfred Hill’s The Sea perhaps rekindling memories of summers past to Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 “Pathetique” – one of the great symphonies in the history of music.
