Explore the historic property, Millpost, near Bungendore on this National Trust (ACT) tour. See the remains of a 19th C limekiln; an ancient stone axe quarry; follow farm trails through hills; see a merino sheep farm and help celebrate the centenary of family custodianship of the property. A self-drive adventure! Morning tea and lunch included.The tour will include a Welcome to Country by Dr Matilda House, Ngambri/Ngunnawal elder and Axe Quarry guides, Rob Williams, Ngambri/Ngunnawal archaeologist and David Johnston, senior archaeologist.
Please note that this tour is self-drive and involves driving on dirt tracks and walking across paddocks. It will be contingent on the weather and there are limited toilet facilities. It is not suitable for people with limited mobility.
