About
The Grainger Wind Symphony, a top community wind symphony invites school concert bands to share a concert performance "By Invitation". As the group is made up of many music educators, they are keen to inspire students to build their passion for music making and to keep playing after they leave school. All members have graduated from school bands themselves. The GWS has invited Blackburn High School's Symphonic Band to perform alone, to listen to the GWS perform, then combine together sitting side by side conducted by Roland Yeung, Shane Walterfang and Jason Ziino. We hope you will come along a create a wonderful atmosphere, one that the students will feel as a positive encouragement to keep up their music and work hard!We recommend patrons bring their own cushion as the seats are hard!
