• Join Steamrail Victoria as we operate the heritage 'Red Rattler' Tait Train on shuttles to Showgrounds Station in conjuction with the AMRA 52nd Model Train Show on Sunday 4th August 2024.

• Sit back in comfort and style onboard our heritage train and wave to lineside photographers and surprised commuters as we travel with the windows down for that old-school Air Con experience. Relive the 20th Century commute on one of Melbourne's most scenic lines with an express run between Flinders Street and Showgrounds, with the Taits doing what they did best from 1919 until 1984.

• Visit the model railway exhibition at your leisure or just come for a train ride through Melbourne's inner west.

  Held on the 3rd and 4th of August 2024 at the Melbourne Showgrounds, Pavilion 08, Town Square.
  Doors are open 9am – 4pm 
  - General admission $15.00
  - Children under 16 years of age free.

• Tickets are available at the door. Train ride does not include entry to the exhibition.
  Alternate entry is via Gate No 5 via Langs Road, Ascot Vale.

  All services are planned to depart Platform 6 at Flinders Street Station. Please ensure that you check the Public Information Displays (PID) when you arrive at the station as these may change throughout the day.
