Learn the basics of knitting in this workshop for beginners!
Who would have thought that knitting could be a stepping stone to health, education and wellness? In addition to being fun and creative, knitting has many health benefits. It reduces stress, supports mental health and helps maintain cognitive function as we age.
You will learn four essential knitting techniques and begin to knit your first project - a stripy scarf! Each attendee will also take home a workbook, yarn and knitting needles to complete their scarves at home.
Places are limited and for ages 13 and above. All materials provided.
