Silvia Busetto paints joyful, vibrant watercolours, transforming ordinary people and everyday scenes into protagonists of unique visual stories.As part of Margaret River Region Open Studios in September 2024, join Silvia for a beginner’s level workshop, perfect for those who’d like to try their hand at contemporary watercolour painting for the first time.
You'll experiment with and explore basic watercolour techniques, unleashing your inner artist as you create your very own watercolour masterpiece to take home.
You'll learn:
- the differences between the three main surface textures
- how to hold a brush correctly and which brush to use when
- how much water to use and how to mix pigments
- watercolour techniques of wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, dry brushing, lifting, splattering
- how to simplify your subjects
All materials provided (or bring your own brushes & pigments, if preferred)
$75 per person, including complimentary drinks and snacks
