About
ARIA award winning singer/songwriter Gyan is returning to Gulgong. This time she is enlisting the talents of renowned director/choreographer Meryl Tankard AO and visual artist Regis Lansac OAM to develop the multi-disciplinary theatre performance for its exciting debut.Having scooped a Sydney Theatre Award for her collaboration with Australian cartoonist Michael Leunig, Gyan is no stranger to mixing her musical palette and offering up unique and memorable experiences for her audiences.
Gyan says:
"We’re thrilled to be returning to Gulgong with Songs to Die For… a new show that has evolved from being engaged more at funerals than weddings. I would imagine sharing a table with the greats; Peggy Lee, Leonard Cohen, Bacharach to Bach, shedding a tear and a laugh.
We’re not ready to die yet but we can enjoy playing in the dark. Love to have your company in the iconic Prince of Wales Opera House."
