Misinformation is defined as false, misleading or deceptive information that can cause harm. Would you like to learn more about misinformation and how to spot it? Come to this talk by Dr Jason Weismueller from The University of Western Australia and learn about the rise and ramifications of misinformation online. Jason will discuss what makes people more susceptible to accepting and sharing misinformation, and what strategies can be employed to combat this issue.
