Simple Loom Weaving with Tania Rossi (SOLD OUT)

Join us for our May weaving workshop as part of our monthly explorations into First Peoples weaving. This month, Tania Rossi (Yorta Yorta, Wiradjuri), will be introducing us to a form of loom weaving to make a dance belt or narrow band of weaving. Using a simple loom made of repurposed timber and nails we will experiment with different materials, such as jute and raffia, to create our warp and weft.- All tools and materials supplied.

- Any kids must be supervised and assisted by an adult.
