Sisters are doing it for themselves. Obu, the City of Port Phillip’s sister city in Japan, also has a short film festival, and for the past few years we’ve exchanged programs and featured our sibling’s films as part of our online offering. This year, we’re proud to present a specially curated program of Japanese short films from the Obu Short Film Festival on the big screen. Don’t miss this cracker-jack crash course in excellent Japanese cinema.Recommended for ages 15+
