First Nations Storytellers
About
This year we saw the most First Nations films submitted through our national call for entries – and the quality of ideas and production diversity was sensational. From deeply personal tales of gender to poetic political statements and provocative social commentary, this is bold storytelling that runs the cinematic gamut. This session lets audiences see some of the films from First Nations filmmakers in the program all in one go, but they are also peppered throughout the entire program.
