The 2024 Snow Season will be closing on September 1st 2024. From September 2nds onwards, the resort will be open for day visitation with the Cafe open. 

End of season car entry- $44.00. This is the online AND gate price, including fees for August 29th to September 1st. For vehicles up to 8 seats (covering up to 8 passengers in the entry fee).

Bus Passenger - $20.50pp or $11.00 for children under 5yrs. If you are entering the resort in a vehicle that exceeds 8 seats, you MUST purchase a bus passenger ticket for each passenger, as you will not be classified as a car. Please note: there will be no shuttle buses to and from the resort this year. 

Seniors Car - $30. If you are purchasing a Seniors car pass, the ticketholder must show a valid seniors card upon arrival. Everyone in the vehicle must be a senior. 

The resort gate entry opens from 8 am - 3.30 pm. Guests are to leave the mountain by 4:30 pm, as the gate will shut shortly afterwards.

RESORT CHANGES

NEW! Compared to previous years, Lake Mountain will be closed to the public* every Tuesday and Wednesday, as outlined below:

Operating hours: 

Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 8am to 4pm.

*There will be no exceptions, including school’s or commercial businesses. 

NEW! Starting this season, there will be ticketed access to the Village toboggan run and Mini toboggan run. (Not required for August 29th to September 1st)

The toboggan park access ticket will provide you with all day access to the Village toboggan and Mini toboggan runs, which includes the use of the magic carpet. These two toboggan runs will be maintained with artificial snow throughout the season if the natural snow is not ideal.

All children under the age of 5yrs are FREE when accompanied & sharing a toboggan with a full paying adult. Each toboggan park access ticket is $20.00 pp, valid for one day from 9am-4pm. 

Guests visiting the resort on Saturday & Sunday's may experience longer delays due to the high visitation, especially if wheel chains are required to be fitted. 

Once you have purchased your resort entry tickets, there are no refunds, changes or amendments allowed. Please ensure to double check your booking before confirming.

Enjoy a day trip to our family-friendly resort, Melbourne's closest alpine resort, only 2 hours away from the CBD. On a clear day, witness a perfect view of Melbourne from our Summit. We have 30km of some of the best cross-country ski trails in Australia available for you to ski, skate or snowshoe. Tobogganing is a popular winter activity, as well the tube run, we also offer Cross Country Ski lessons for those looking to learn a new skill! The rental and retail departments are stocked with Rojo, XTM and Elude gear to help you have fun in the snow. If hiring clothing, please ensure you have a license to be used as a security deposit. After enjoying the snow, relax in our Bistro where we offer warm comforting food and beverages to keep you satisfied throughout the day. 

Unfortunately, we do not have accommodation on the mountain, however, the closest town is Marysville where you will find a number of options. Before coming up the mountain, if it is a declared chain day for 2WD pop into the ski hire stores to hire car chains, or some last-minute winter woollies.
