The Paul McGuire Maritime Library is a special collection of the State Library of South Australia. The collection is very extensive and covers most maritime matters.The collection is the result of a benefaction from Mrs Margaret McGuire, Paul's widow.
Paul McGuire was an author and diplomat. Margaret McGuire was trained in science and was an author.
She formed the Friends to promote the library.
Join The Friends of the Paul McGuire Maritime Library Inc, and support the world-class Paul McGuire collection in the State Library of South Australia.
We have 6 meetings a year, mostly at Port Adelaide's British Hotel.
