Art Now - Shadow-boxes and Memory (5 - 7 years) (SOLD OUT)
Responding to the work of Kirtika Kain in The Cube gallery space, we will experience the work and think about special memories of places, people, things, plants and animals that are important to us. In the studio we will learn about the poetic shadow-boxes of Joseph Cornell and will be guided in drawing and collage techniques to make our own, embedding treasured memories within them.
This is a part-day holiday workshop from 9am - 2pm designed for 5 -7 year olds.
Bring a friend, a hat and some lunch for the break, we will provide light snacks and water.
The price is $75 for Non-members and $65 for Members of the Gallery.
