About
An introduction to the form of collage as you discover collage techniques, texture, composition and image placement, then add to your piece with drawing techniques using various media.The second session will use the collages you created as a starting point as participants create larger works using drawing materials of choice. These larger artworks will be from the whole collage or smaller parts of it. Special pieces will be created as you investigate changing scale, color and format of your original source material.
While these sessions are designed as a series for the greatest depth of learning and outcome, they are also standalone sessions – you can participate in one without having attended the other, using images provided by Audrey and Ian Gunn, your facilitators.
