Resilience Through Laughter
RESILIENCE TRAINING THROUGH LAUGHTER Workshop
Clint Bolster has been a professional clown for more than 20 years - some folk will remember his visits to the Redlands as Sean and as Booff the Clown. The workshop Resilience Training Through Laughter, will introduce you to another aspect of clowning. Clint will guide you through the benefits to be gained by making authentic connections – with other participants and, as strange as it sounds, with yourself. You can discover the freedom to be found by putting on a mask and becoming anonymous and – the icing on the cake – you’ll discover inner strength by remembering how to laugh. Really laugh, with the abandonment and joy of a child.
Clint’s workshops are well-suited to seniors, even those with physical limitations or who are living with pain; he sees the workshop process as a way of celebrating our bodies, with whatever limitations they may have. No acting experience is necessary, though practising actors will discover ways of channelling more into their performances.
