AGHS ACT Monaro Riverina Branch AGM 2024, and
Annual Lecture
About
The Annual General Meeting of the ACT Monaro Riverina Branch of AGHS will be followed by our Annual Lecture, Gardening Ancestors – People, Plants, Places and Memories presented by Dr Greg Johnson.
Greg's previous presentations to AGHS, including a series of four talks on early Australian gardening books and his talk during COVID, Our Garden in a Year of Calamities, will be happily recalled by many. In this lecture he will draw on his personal experiences as well as his scholarship as he speaks of some of the Scottish and Chinese horticultural ancestral echoes that resonate in his life.
Members of the ACT Monaro Riverina Branch of AGHS are eligible to vote at the AGM, but attendance at the lecture is open to all, and you are most welcome
As usual delicious refreshments will be served after the talk. There is no cost for this event.
