• To make a simple but durable, functional and water resistant bucket hat from papers;
• How to use eastern and western papers for textile accessory projects;
• Construction techniques and approaches that will make sure your accessory lasts and is fit for purpose;
• Embedding water resistance in paper textile accessories;
Suitable for both beginners and experienced participants. Participants should bring a basic sewing kit and any special papers they might like to include in their hat project. Sewing machines are optional, only if you would prefer to use a sewing machine over hand stitching. Specialist Eastern papers, products and materials for use on the day are included in the ticket fee. Additional specialist papers and materials will be available for purchase on the day."
