About
The Rotary Four Way Test Speech Contest (4WTSC) is a state-wide competition conducted in each school year. It is of special importance because truthfulness, fairness and goodwill are beneficial to all and are the cornerstones of our lives.The Rotary 4WTSC is part of the School Link Program, as each Rotary club is linked with a primary or secondary school.
The contest was originated by Fred Marsh in his year as District Governor in 1988-89. This public speaking competition was first held at the District Conference, in March 1989.
The Rotary 4WTSC supports the English curriculum in speaking and listening and is an opportunity for teachers to develop student skills in listening, reading, public speaking and creative writing.
The Rotary Four Way Test is a world-wide set of ethics and values that can be applied to everyday life.
