AN Shoalhaven 1/2 Interest Day: 19th Century Arts Movement
About
This exciting 1/2 study day explores that the Aesthetic Movement and the Arts & Craft Movement were two sides of the same coin: Design Reform. The sense that the 19th century did not have its own identity, and was a maelstrom of competing revivalist styles, gave rise in the aftermath of the Great Exhibition of 1851 to the determination to find aesthetic codes that represented modern Britain. Morning tea included.ArtsNational Members: $20
