JKAA are delighted and honoured to announce a unique and prestigious event for our karate community.

This August, we have the privilege of welcoming two high-grade instructors from the Japan Karate Association (JKA) Honbu, who will be leading our JKA Australia seminar.

Our Distinguished Guests:

Their outstanding appointments and achievements include:

Izumiya Seizo Shihan:

• Senior Managing Director of JKA Japan
• 1997 JKA All Japan Championship Tournament Grand Champion: 1st place Kata, 2nd place Kumite
• Runner-up Kata Champion at the 7th and 8th Shoto World Cup (1998 and 2000)
• Globally renowned instructor with extensive international teaching experience

Ueda Daisuke Sensei:

• Instructor at JKA Japan
• Runner-up Kata and Kumite Champion at the 13th and 14th Shoto World Cup (2014 and 2017)
• Highly respected in the world of karate, with a wealth of experience instructing globally

The training will be over 5 days:

• 21 & 22 August 2024 in Brisbane, QLD
• 23, 24 & 25 August in Melbourne, VIC
