Advanced DNA Painter Workshop
So you've started mapping your chromosomes – what next? Join us for this hands-on workshop and learn how to get the most out of DNA mapping.
As well as covering some of the features of DNA Painter, Carmel Dundon will demonstrate the value of a duplicate map that records matches where the common ancestor is not known. You will be shown how to manipulate DNA match segments to reflect an earlier MRCA match, enabling you to create a more accurate genetic map. You will be supported to practice these skills throughout the workshop, with ample opportunity for Q&A.
This workshop follows on from the Introduction to Chromosome Mapping using DNA Painter talk, held on 2 July. All registrants to this advanced workshop will receive a link to the recording of the July session upon registration.
Participants are invited to submit questions for the presenters via email no later than one week prior to the workshop.
