About
Catholic Education Diocese of Cairns Identity and Outreach Directorate seeks to build a supportive faith community for the parents of children in our schools to participate in. In supporting families to develop their capacity to nurture the faith and spirituality of their children, the Catholic school participates in the evangelising mission of the Church as a community of faith (NCEC, 2023).’A parent retreat provides the opportunity for parents and caregivers to be introduced into active participation in the faith community of Catholic Education Diocese of Cairns. The retreat is intended to be informal and its focus is on providing a day of spiritual reflection, participation and collaboration for parents who attend.
