Parent Forum: Rediscovering Hope
Parents are invited to come and listen to clinical psychologist Dr Leisa Aitkin explore the concept of hope: what exactly hope is and how we can nurture it.
This seminar will explore these questions and analyse some of the reasons why many are currently struggling to have hope – especially young people.
Dr Aitken will also offer practical, research-based strategies to increase hope for ourselves and those we care for.
Dr Leisa Aitken is a clinical psychologist specialising in mental health and wellbeing. For more than 25 years, she has been counselling and delivering seminars and workshops in workplaces, hospitals, churches and at her private practice.
