St Joseph’s School is joining Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) to bring comfort and joy to those in need. How wonderful does that sound!We’re hoping that 200 Mercy Bears will be made so we can hand them out to children in Cancer and Hospital Wards, to Centacare, the Queensland Police, the
Firies and even Aged Care facilities. To participate, students are invited to purchase one or more $15 Mercy Bear kits as ‘An Act of Kindness’ to others. Mercy Bears will be made in Terms 3 and 4, then gifted at our Christmas Concert.

Orders close Friday, August 9
The Mercy Bears will be made at school or OSHC during lunchtimes in Terms 3 and 4. When finished, they will be named by the maker, given hugs and lots of
love, and packed away safely to go to their new home at our end-of-year Christmas Concert.
