NAVIGATING THE DIGITAL WORLD SAFELYYoung people today love to play, connect and learn online. This session aims to provide parents and guardians with insights and important information about popular online experiences to which children are exposed.
The session will be presented by The Cyber Safety Project in partnership with Box Hill High School, and will cover topics including:
- social networking trends
- strategies and resources for cyber bullying
- how to take control in relation to unwanted contact
- sexting, image based abuse and the law
- establishing positive relationships and how to report cyber abuse
