About
The Austral Salon presents violist Jamie Miles in a program including works by Henri Büsser, Niccolò Paganini, Francois Poulenc and Robert Schumann.Nineteen-year-old Jamie is a second-year student at both the Australian National Academy of Music and the University of Melbourne (BMus), studying with Caroline Henbest. He is a casual member of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and performed Schoenberg’s epic oratorio Gurrelieder with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra as part of ANAM’s side-by-side program in March 2024.
He was a featured performer in the 2024 Bendigo Chamber Music Festival and the 2024 Australian Youth Orchestra (AYO) Momentum Tour.
Doors open for refreshments 11.45 am. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided - BYO sandwiches
