"Remediation - risk, rage, reputation, recovery; a stakeholder perspective".Barbara Campany (Barbara Campany & Associates) will speak about her experience in this area and share some project highlights and challenges around managing reputational risks attached to legacy contamination/remediation. She will also give a summary of how the community engagement profession has matured over the years and is now very much a cornerstone of best practice management for contaminated land projects today - a very different scenario to years ago. Barbara will also provide an overview of a risk management framework to help manage heightened community worry and potential outrage towards organisations/government/projects.
