JUNIOR INTRODUCTION TO SAILING COURSE
A 5 day sailing course for junior novices.

9am to 1pm each day.
Rediscover the fun of sailing and gain more confidence on a dinghy during these school holidays. This 5 day Sailing Course is suited to school students who are interested in learning to sail, or building on their sailing experience. Suits both newcomers and those who have completed basic training. Parents are welcome to stay and assist, or just watch.
$250 per student (that's $50 a day for instruction, boat use, buoyancy jacket hire and lunch on Friday).
Using Mirror dinghies, sailors progress beyond basic sailing concepts. When appropriate, more challenging activities are introduced such as gybing, sailing a triangle course, understanding sailing rules. Bouyancy vests will be provided, however confidence in the water is assumed.
Recommended minimum age is 10 years. Sailors under the age of 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the course.
