Taylor has garnered a reputation for her powerful live shows – tough and tender performances that command audiences to silence. Having recently released her third studio album ‘Giving It Away’ to widespread critical acclaim and sold out shows around Australia, Taylor is proving herself as ‘a shining light of heartfelt honesty and talent amid the pretenders’ - Post To Wire.
'One of those rare artists that comes along once in a blue moon.' - Shane Howard (Goanna)
'With that kind of voice, not singing blues might be considered at the very least a waste if not a crime against nature,' Bernard Zuel
Bellingen local, Jason Lowe will be joining the evening as a special guest
'With a highlighted career spanning over a decade, Singer Songwriter Jason Lowe is somewhat a veteran of the Australian music scene.
Having supported the likes of ‘All Our Exes Live In Texas’ ’Kim Churchill’ ‘The Wilson Pickers’ ‘Jeff Lang’ ‘Eric Bibb’ (USA) ‘Dan Mangan’ (CAN) and ‘Jeff Martin’(CAN) and hired as a session musician for artists such as ‘Lisa Mitchell’ and ‘Ruth Moody’ (CAN) Lowe is widely revered as an artist in his own right, and as a musically diverse and experienced multi-instrumentalist.
A two time ‘Byron Bay East Coast Blues And Roots’ performer, Lowe has also performed at such festivals as ‘Queenscliff Music Festival,’ ‘Mullumbimby Music Festival,’ and the‘Port Fairy Folk Festival.’ Praised by Australian blues legend Lloyd Spiegel as “Unique and sublimely talented. One of the finest lapsteel players you’ll hear anywhere on earth” his exceptional skills as a lap slide guitarist, acoustic guitarist, lyricist, storyteller, vocalist, and performer are wholly unique and astounding.
His words and music are mesmerising, deep and profound. The musicality lush and romantic, sweeping and serene, powerful and affecting.
A timeless Singer Songwriter, Lowe is akin to such modern artists as Laura Marling and Leif Vollebekk.'
