Ararat Multicultural Community Garden Party

This event will be a family friendly celebration of the multicultural fruits, vegetables and plants grown at the Ararat Community Garden. The Ararat Multicultural Community Garden Party will be an outdoor event with food, activities and an opportunity to view the different garden beds at the Ararat Community Garden.Everyone is welcome.
The Ararat Community Garden is a beautiful community space on the site of the old J-Ward prison garden. It is a place to garden, sit, chat or just be. The Ararat Food Growers Inc is a not-for-profit group, run by volunteer community members who have a passion for all things related to food growing and community food, food growing education, organics, permaculture, community art, and eating great fresh food too.
This event is supported by the Victorian Government's Multicultural Festivals and Events Program and the Ararat Rural City Council.
