About
This two day course will provide you with knowledge and skills to safely operate and maintain a chainsaw for trimming and cutting fallen trees using a range of cutting techniques. This is an accredited course and you will receive a certificate upon completion.This workshop is part of the Ready, Set, Recover program which aims to build the skills, confidence and connection of those in our community. We encourage you to use breaks to meet others in the group and take time to get to know them.
You are required to attend both Saturday and Sunday, 8am - 4.30pm.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea is provided each day.
If transport is a barrier to your participation, please get in touch with us. Young people, women and gender diverse people are encouraged to register.
