Surf Coast Chamber Players (SCCP) Concert (SOLD OUT)
About
The SCCP accompanied by guest performers Pianist Berta Brozgul and Koto player Brandon Lee are offering two performances consisting of a matinee and evening concert in the Aireys Inlet Hall on 29 September. The concert will include the premiere of a piece "Sealight" commissioned from Lachlan Skipworth, an award winning Australian composer. Lachlan has written Sealight for the seven chamber players plus Koto, a Japanese stringed instrument.The program will consist of three pieces:
1. Hari no Umi (The Sea in Spring) Miyagi Michio - Flute and Koto
2. Piano Quintet in A Major D 667 "The Trout Quintet" Schubert -Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello & Double Bass
3. "Sealight" Lachlan Skipworth - Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Koto, & Flute
The evening performance ticket includes a glass of bubbly and finger food.
