Join us for songs, dances and massacres you can really hum!'Oh, What a Lovely War!' is one of the most important English-language plays of the 20th Century, covering the history of the First World War from a humanitarian perspective. It takes a satirical look at World War I with heightened set pieces, satirical sketches interspersed with songs from the period.
Students have explored the play, designed the lighting, sourced sound effects and costumes, and workshopped the choreography. Now, we just need the most important thing in theatre: an audience!
Join us for an evening of dancing and fighting, clowning and warfare. It adds a whole new meaning to 'over the top'!
