A one day ukulele workshop for soprano/concert/tenor ukuleles. NOT bass or baritone ukuleles.10am – 11am:
Tremolo. What it is. How to practice it and when to use it. Exercises and a tune will be played.
11:30am – 12:30pm:
Hammer ons and Pull offs. What are they? How to use them when playing notes and chords. Exercises, tunes and a song will be looked at.
1:30pm – 2:30pm:
Bluegrass Ukulele. How to use a plectrum. Discussing different gauges of plectrum. When to use a plectrum and when to pluck with your fingers. Flatpicking. Exercises and two songs. Low G ukulele preferable.
3pm – 4pm:
Campanella playing. For high G ukuleles only. How to make your ukulele sound like a harp! How to play harmonics. Exercises and tunes will be played.
